phoenix to santa fe

Welcome to day two!! En route to Santa Fe we stopped at a few trading posts which caused us to slow our pace. We picked up a sweet dreamcatcher for Kevin's rear view mirror tho.

Albuquerque didn't seem to ever come but the drive there was unbelievably gorgeous. We managed to hit up Frontier restaurant for a delicious burrrrrito aka new mexican food. New Age Twin Peaks music playing inside, The Sundays playing outside. Weird? yes. We finally arrived in Santa Fe at midnight. Seth at the Inn at Santa Fe was no Joel.

In the morning we went to Pasquera's for an INSANE breakfast. We're talking tortilla, fried egg, feta cheese, tomatillo sauce, fried bananas, and PEAS on top. Also, a note to the side of green chiles. The Five and Dime store really did us right as well. We picked up some rasta chile light covers for Kevin. We had to pick up the lights at the christmas store...oddly enough it was packed. Who knew.

FINALLY we hit up our first thrift store action. First stop, i picked up this beautiful number. Also, got these fine records....visage, ian dury, and split enz. Second stop i scored a sweet two piece leisure suit/sweat outfit, not pictured, but i can assure you it's amazing. Ended the day with a sweet snow cone. Break at Travelodge before we head out for the evening's events. Who knows what Santa Fe will bring.....
